"MONTAUK VILLAGE ASSOCIATION
CARING FOR MONTAUK SINCE 1961"
The MVA....WHO ARE WE? Those beautiful planters and red roses that line the streets of Montauk village..."that's us!" The Montauk Village Association is Montauk's oldest non-profit civic organization directed by a group of dedicated volunteers who care deeply for our little village. Our mission since 1961 has been to keep the village beautiful by planting trees and flowers, and keeping all public areas clean and green! We recently established a Memorial Garden on the Montauk Green and posted a new sign on Kirk Park. We also give back to our community by presenting scholarships to local school children who have plans to go off to college. It's a lot of work but it really is a labor of love for us. If you are interested in helping or being a part of our board, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org . We can always use another "green thumb"!
HOW DO WE DO ALL THIS?
Well, it's not easy, but we do have the support of East Hampton Town, and we host fundraisers throughout the summer season to cover the bulk of our landscaping expenses. We also rely on the generosity of our community and the thousands of summer visitors who enjoy our streets and our beaches! Tax free donations are always welcome.
